Why Early Access?

“We decided to do Early Access because we want to have more player involvement during the development of the game, and also give the game more time to slowly build into a more complete and immersive fantasy world.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game is planned to be in Early Access for roughly 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are only 5 characters that the players can meet in the early version, but in the full version the plan is to have 12 date-able characters. In addition, there should be more dialogues, more endings, more items and even fully drawn professor characters in the full version. The full version of the game also aims to have a full in-game economy and the ability to decorate as the player likes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of the game will be a fully playable, complete game, including about 20 activities and 10 classes to take and 5 date-able characters.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not currently plan to increase the price when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to actively listen to all the community feedbacks and reports of bugs. We want the community to give us their opinions on anything from quality-of-life requests to game balance and the story / world-building in the game. The community can reach us via an online form or through discord and emails.”

About This Game

Starting today, you are admitted to Whimel Magic Academy. Whimel Academy is a famous magic school where a variety of subjects are offered to the students. You will also meet other fellow students with whom you can develop friendship and potentially romance. Your only goal is to have a fulfilling student life and fruitful education during the six years you'll be here. Your parents agreed to give a certain amount of pocket money each month, but sometimes you'll need to put aside time to earn some extra. That is, after you balanced your studying, hobby and friendship.



🌱 Whimel Academy is a cozy, slow-paced time management game where the player decide what to do from day to day, in addition the players can choose to romance one of several in-game characters. Whimel Academy aims to be a wholesome experience where the players can immerse themselves in a low-stake fantasy world and role-play as an ordinary student in a magic school.

🗓️ Time Management
You need to decide where and how to spend your limited time among activities such as taking classes and spending time with your friends, and also pay attention to your health and finance.
- Take classes.
- Practice magic outside class.
- Take part-time jobs to earn money and skill.



🧸 Relationships
You can befriend (or romance) a variety of characters of different genders and personality. There won't be any life-or-death plot line, but you can really get to know each one of them through various conversations and interactions.



🥘 Low Fantasy Worldbuilding
Whimel aims to create a wholesome fantasy world where you can feel relaxed and as if coming to home through the low-stake gameplay, cozy atmosphere and detailed slice-of-life worldbuilding.



🔮 Multiple Career Choice and Ending
You can specialize in different tracks of magic throughout the game. Different combinations of stats would grant you one of the 30+ endings when you graduate.
